DOUBLE SHOT MUSIC
Double Shot is a sister rap duo comprised of myself and my younger sister "Jin". Our passion for music began in our teens when we formed a hip-hop dance group which was the opening act for the biggest rap concerts to hit the Twin Cities. We began writing and recording in 2006 and completed several music vidoes and live performances in the Twin Cities, Miami, Chicago and Atlanta. During that era, female rap was just beginning to resurface with artists like Eve and Trina able to gain national attention, but with limited social media like MySpace, we found that it was still very difficult to penetrate the industry. With so much progress being made by female rappers now, we just come out of retirement one day!
